My parents could not afford my rent in a place like Delhi or Mumbai. They were scared for me. Because they had heard horrible stories about Bollywood. But the matter of fact was. They were not able to pay 20 thousand rent a month. I moved to mumbai in 2005 and I did struggle. If you don't know English ,you don't understand most of the conversation. But that time I didn't know how to speak English. Lots of challenges are there if you are an outsider. It's very hard to get your way through and you don't have anyone to guide you. If you are strong enough, and if you are insistent and persistent and you know that you have to make it. You will learn and will move forward. It's okay to be discriminated. I was okay when I was treated that way. I was not whining about it. Don't think that it's just happening to you.It happens to everyone. 

मेरे माता-पिता दिल्ली या मुंबई जैसी जगह पर मेरा किराया नहीं दे सकते थे। वे मेरे लिए डरे हुए थे। क्योंकि उन्होंने बॉलीवुड के बारे में भयानक कहानियां सुनी थीं। लेकिन असल बात थी। वे महीने में 20 हजार किराया नहीं दे पा रहे थे। मैं 2005 में मुंबई चला गया और मैंने संघर्ष किया। यदि आप अंग्रेजी नहीं जानते हैं, तो आप अधिकांश बातचीत को नहीं समझते हैं। लेकिन उस समय मुझे अंग्रेजी बोलना नहीं आता था। यदि आप बाहरी व्यक्ति हैं तो बहुत सारी चुनौतियाँ हैं। अपना रास्ता निकालना बहुत कठिन है और आपका मार्गदर्शन करने के लिए आपके पास कोई नहीं है। यदि आप काफी मजबूत हैं, और यदि आप जिद और लगातार हैं और आप जानते हैं कि आपको इसे बनाना है। आप सीखेंगे और आगे बढ़ेंगे। भेदभाव किया जाना ठीक है। जब मेरे साथ ऐसा व्यवहार किया गया तो मैं ठीक था। मैं इसके बारे में चिल्ला नहीं रहा था। यह मत सोचो कि यह सिर्फ तुम्हारे साथ हो रहा है।यह सबके साथ होता है।
